Who We Are
Rinfresca is founded by Marco Sachy, PhD (Italian) and anique vered sachy, MSt (Australian), whose eldest daughter lives with Down Syndrome.
Marco was Associate Science Director at CSIRO’s Data61, the Australian national science agency, after 5 years as Project Officer at the European Commission Joint Research Centre – Ispra. At Dyne.org Foundation, he contributed to raising 1,130,000 Euro for European Union funded Horizon2020 projects on research and technological development including: digital welfare, direct democracy and a Blockchain venture builder. He was also co-founder at Prosume, a renewable energy startup. Marco is a certified Holistic Operator.
With 20 years experience in communities, organisations and institutions on five continents, Anique is specialised in partnership building, interdisciplinary research, pedagogy, curation and producing high profile events. She grew up in an award-winning accessible tourism family business. Anique has a proven track record in bringing diverse stakeholders together on visionary initiatives that achieve tangible social impact. Before her maternity leave, she developed Horizon2020 grants raising a total of 1.300.000 EUR
